SalonSight™ User Data Deletion

SalonSight respects your privacy and provides a public process for requesting deletion of applicable information associated with SalonSight and connected social-media accounts.

For Meta/Facebook/Instagram users: This page provides SalonSight’s public instructions for requesting deletion of data associated with SalonSight and connected Meta accounts.

How to request deletion

1. Email support@salonsight.net with the subject “Data Deletion Request.”
2. Include the salon name and the email address associated with your SalonSight account.
3. If the request involves Facebook or Instagram, state that you want connected Meta integration data removed as well.
4. SalonSight will verify the request and remove applicable account, personal, and connected-integration data that SalonSight is permitted and required to delete.

Disconnecting Facebook or Instagram

Users may also disconnect Facebook or Instagram access through their Meta account settings. When a connected Facebook or Instagram account is disconnected from SalonSight, SalonSight will no longer access that account through the Meta platform using the disconnected authorization.

What may be retained

Some information may need to be retained when required by law, for security and fraud prevention, to resolve disputes, or when the information belongs to a salon business record that another authorized account must retain. Where appropriate, SalonSight will delete or de-identify information that is no longer required.

Verification and processing

SalonSight may ask for reasonable information to verify that the person making the request is authorized to request deletion. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
